I'm just gonna throw this out there.

I think aro/ace/aroace could use a new umbrella term.

This isn't to say that anyone is or isn't valid, use whatever labels make you happy, I dont care about that. Its mostly that the words 'aromantic' and 'asexual' are both umbrella terms that the rest of them (demi, gray, ect.) fall under.

This is to say that there's no actual word for people who experience 0 attraction. You can use aro/ace/aroace but since that's also the umbrella term, it doesn't really help? I feel like there should just be a separate word for it.

Like I told someone I were demi or anything else, they'd know what I mean and stuff, but if I say I'm aro/ace/aroace, it quickly becomes unclear on whether or not I'm talking about aspec entirely or just- like 0 attraction.

Again, I'm not saying this because I think people are more or less valid, but it kinda bothers me that people with 0 attraction sort of dont have their own word for it? I feel like a new umbrella term would help with that so no ones being excluded.

As of now, if you ask almost anyone (who isn't one of those people who pretend we dont exist-) what aro/ace/aroace means, you'll get 'someone who feels little to no attraction'. Which is fine! But there should probably be a new word for it, one that covers all of it.

Also this is a little less important, but the reason I'm suggesting a new umbrella term and not a new term for people with 0 attraction to begin with, is because the a in aromantic and asexual if a Greek prefix that basically means 'not'. I think it'd just be less confusing that way.

Also also, if anything I said here is somehow rude or offensive, PLEASE tell and and explain how because I'm terrible at conveying tone and I genuinely mean all of this in the nicest way possible. I love my community, but I'd also really like a separate umbrella term for it.

Edit: Editing because someone mentioned that Aspec (along with arosepc, acespec, aroacespec, ect.) are terms people use to, which I sort of forgot while writing this whoops. So I suppose my complaint is more that those aren't more commonly used. I feel like they would make far better umbrella terms than just 'asexual' and 'aromantic'.

Laughing at the Little Wolf animatic

In the Little Wolf animatic Jay just uploaded, I noticed Antinous was taunting Telemachus while crossing his finger similar to this🤞

Now, I know the gesture has different meanings in Greek and other cultures, but in Vietnamese culture, doing a 🤞 at someone means you're calling them a female genital (yes, exactly that C word you're thinking about)

I don't know if the animator was intentional in making Antinous cussing like that but it's funny AF

ngl, the more I think about it, the more I feel conflicted over how people sexualize my characters.

On the one hand, it would be silly to deny that I don't go out of my way to create aesthetically pleasing/attractive characters because I love to draw what I enjoy, and I love it when people simp for them.

But on the other hand, sometimes it does bother me that people are so fixated on sex and their own arousal that they miss important lore/plot information that I get a bit frustrated

I can’t be the only one whose art style is a mixture of others art styles. It ranges from anime to cartoons to those random tutorials on youtube from 2018 to random art i see on Pinterest. A good portion of the time i look at a small part of my art and just think “who did i get this from???”

That one post was right, your art style says a lot about you.

But gid I felt it when Paul told Nona that Camilla wouldn't have allowed nona to wear the "mustache rides" shirt in the apartment.

Because can't an very tired ace women be in her own home without constantly being shown a crass innuendo.

I get that there is humor in a rude T shirt. And I get that thier is humor is that shirt being worn by someone who it seams wildly inappropriate for. But a joke can be funny and also in poor taste. And jokes in poor.taste can be so very tiresome

And it's also very much a joke between Pyrrha and Nona from which Camilla is excluded. And Camilla without Palamedes probably always feels about like an inside person now out in the world alone. And that's very tiring as well.

And so without yucking anyone's yum, or killing anyone's fun, I think camilla deserves to come home and not see Nona in the mustache rides shirt.
